3. Visit Counter (Upstash Redis)

This website displays a visit counter. On the first page load of each browser session, a request is sent to Upstash (Upstash, Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4207, Walnut, CA 91789, USA), which increments a counter in a Redis database and returns the updated value.

No personal data is permanently stored. Only the counter is incremented by 1; no IP addresses or other identifiers are saved in the database. The counter value is cached in your browser's Session Storage (not a cookie) so that subsequent page loads within the same session do not trigger further requests. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
